A place of few frills but who needs them when you can get quality local ales and a chance to chat without the constant mind- numbing musak often on offer.
Great little find. Great selection of cider and ale. Why can't most other pubs have a selection on offer like the Saxon tavern does? We have a pub 3 minutes walk away in gt billing and still prefer to taxi over to Earl's Barton! The misses loves it there. They accept card payments now and the staff are great. 5 stars from us
