Very disappointing service, A.E.S rent out some of their Ramps to independent businesses. (Which I did not know as there is no signs to say this on the building itself). I had a mechanic do my gear box and he completely messed it up. When I picked up the car it was not driveable. I had to pay 80 for a tow truck to pick up the car and take it to another garage as they were unable to repair the damage they had done. When I get to the new garage they say its a complete mess, bolts missing my clutch had been burnt out and the gearbox wasnt fitted correctly. On showing the original mechanic the report from the car he said he would give me a refund for 150 for the original work and 80 for the tow truck plus the 300 for the clutch they had broken. I agreed to collect it and when I went was greeted with abuse and told to go to court if I wanted my money back. He was very unprofessional and so were the two other people in the garage. DO NOT USE THIS GARAGE. They are now not replying to me and I am over 500 down just before christmas
Shocking, appalling, worst garage ive ever used. Changed wrong brake pads, said shocks were broken turns out it was springs faulty, fitted new pads to worn discs. Gave it 1 coz can't give none.
They're great people. Honest job and no frills unlike some national franchises I could mention, who I won't. They have been a massive help to me in recent weeks. Well done AES. See you soon for my car servicing.
