Every time go here chips are soggy and or undercooked and not usually hot and taste bland which defeats object eating fried chips. Maybe you should try the chips gold street fish bar Wellingborough they best around always tasty hot and crispy and cheap too and tasty go twice a week no wonder always queues out the door. I keep testing yours every 2 months and see if improve, they never do though which a shame as this local chippy. Just felt need say people must just be lazy use this chippy for convenience.

You always get a good portion in there, cod is always fresh. I had place last visit which was frozen and not as good so know what to stick to next time. Good value for money cod is 3.90 place 4 two mushy peas 1 two meals came to just over 11
HIT AND MISSThough often the food is the best in the area and sometimes even served in a presentable way there have been times, more than I would care to mention in fact, that the food has been atrocious. The prices are always a high and I would say unprecedented but that is what to expect in a village fish and chip store.Batter bits are given but only with signs, seemingly of annoyance and anger, but their quality makes up for the lack of friendly customer service. Given minor price reductions and attitude improvements maybe their star rating would increase.
